PREVIEW OF THE 2015/2016 SEASON
With a new season ahead many may predict Chelsea to win the league this season ahead but no one should write off fellow competitors especially now the league champions of 2014/2015 seasons lost the curtain raiser, the charity shield, to an arsenal side who showed a lot of flair on the ball and great defending of the single goal scored. This great performance by the gunners has raised a few eye brows on the level of competition the champions may face this coming year.
Tough opposition also pushing for the title of league champions both from the city of Manchester, the citizens and the red devils, who have both been busy in the transfer market. Manchester City have secured the signing of Liverpool starlet Raheem Sterling who cost the club a whopping 49 million pounds would have to silence the critics this season with a series of great performances ,also adding to the numbers Roberts from Fulham. The red devils have been the busier of both teams considering the number of players coming in and leaving the side, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin ,Memphis Depay and Darmian all coming in to a side looking to win the league after 2 seasons below par.
This season promises to be a wonderful ride with new players coming into the Premier League who have a point or two to prove. Newcastle look to improve on a very disappointing season with good
signings Wijnaldum and Aleksandar Mitrovic, very wonderful players highly rated and would surely
help in improving the 17th place finish of last season.
In other news it seems Abedi Pele has instructed his sons to go and make a name for themselves in the premier league popularly known as the Ayew brothers, Jordan moving to Aston villa while his
older brother Andre signing for Swansea. This season would surely be mouth-watering affair week in week out.
The battle for champions league football between Liverpool, arsenal, spurs and surprise package of
last season Southampton. The gunners seem likely to fight for the champions spot but would also have to look at their behinds as this others may rival for the 4th place finish. Liverpool have secured great buys that may look as they may make a turnaround in their bad fortunes ,Top rated signings Benteke ,Firmino, Milner, Clyne all look to make great leaps of improvement at the Meyer side team, Benteke giving the fans a taste of what’s to come by scoring a wonder goal earlier in pre-season against swidon. A sign of good things to come.
